The clutch is engineered to manage higher power levels beyond what the original equipment (OE) transmission can handle, with almost identical internals to the current pull-type STI version.

The Street Kits offer an excellent driving feel and drivability, capable of handling up to 800 lb-ft of torque, making them ideal for daily use. For the more competitive spirits, the HD and XT Race kits are designed to withstand the rigors of drag, road, or rally racing, delivering exceptional clutch life and resilience at torque levels as high as 910 lb-ft.
One of the standout features of the Mod-Twin 225 is its modular design, which allows for up to 8 different configurations. Users can choose from two different clamp loads, alternate friction plates, and opt between a sprung or rigid Mono-Drive hub. Installation is made straightforward with the kit's adherence to the factory push-type design. Each kit includes a Chromoly XACT Streetlite Flywheel, clutch hardware, an improved release bearing, and an alignment tool, ensuring a smooth and efficient setup process.
